Our 10 Days Everest Base Camp Trek begins from Lukla and leads us to several interesting Sherpa farm villages of Ghat-Phakding-Monjo-Jorsalle. We will encounter a series of prayer walls on every trail with rotating religious bells and Buddhist monuments. Our trek route leads into serene forested areas of Namche’s thickest rhododendrons, magnolia, pines, fires, and oak trees. Here, we will explore the world’s highest Everest view hotels with a cup of tea or coffee before going higher.
During the trek, we will also encounter the picturesque Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar (4,440m). It is a gateway to our 10 Days Everest Base Camp Trek. The town is an ideal spot for a rest day to acclimate to a delightful time browsing around its various shops, stores, and restaurants. We can witness in the shade of Kongde Peak and adjoining peaks of Thamserku, Mt. Everest 8848m, and magnificent Ama Dablam.
From here, we will ascend higher to the beautiful and scenic Thyangboche Monastery. From here, we can witness Gokyo Lake Valley with a sweeping panorama of surrounding giant peaks with views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam in the harmony of the pristine natural environment and the sound of monks chanting a prayer. At Everest Base Camp, the walk continues past Pangboche village.
As we ascend to a higher elevation, the tree lines disappear, and we will find the wild, open, windswept country site. Our trekking route leads closer to Everest Base Camp areas. Finally, reaching the foot of the world’s highest Mt. Everest base camp, facing the Khumbu Icefalls and glaciers, enjoying an excellent view of visiting Everest base camp back to overnight Gorakshep. The following day, early morning, we will hike 400m to the adventure peak on top of Kalapatthar, which has a breathtaking panorama of mountains with Everest nearby.
